A Gibson County woman was charged with theft after authorities say she could not pay the fare to cab driver.

Around 7:00 Saturday morning the Gibson County Sheriff`s Office indicates they received a 911 call from a Unity Taxi cab driver out of Evansville, Indiana reporting that a client he had transported from Evansville to her residence in Somerville, Indiana was refusing to pay for the services of the taxi ride. Upon arriving Sgt. Bruce Vanoven opened an investigation where the cab driver identified 38 year old Tiffanie D. Carter as the individual who refused to pay.
