Funeral services have been set for a Union County native killed in a wreck earlier this week on US 60 East.
Funeral services for 28 year old Seth Allen Cross of Paducah will be held Sunday afternoon at 1:00 at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield. Visitation will be held after 11AM Sunday at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at Marshall County Memory Garden in Draffenville. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Lisa and Mark Powell, his three children, three grandparents, a sister and his fiancé.
According to Kentucky State Police, Cross died Wednesday night when he was driving on US 60 East and as he approached the Highland Creek Bridge he crossed over into the westbound lane and sideswiped two pickup trucks and then crashed head-on into a car driven by a 62 year old Debra Schermerhorn of Morganfield. Schermerhorn and her 56 year old passenger, Marilyn Nally of Morganfield, were transported to local hospitals. Cross was pronounced dead at the scene by the Union County Coroner.
