Four teenagers charged in connection to robbery in Henderson

Four teenagers have been charged in connection to an armed robbery that occurred in Henderson last week.

As reported previously by WMSK News, Luke Rightmyer of Henderson went to the police station around 7:30 p.m. Monday, November 21, 2016, and stated he was robbed at gunpoint by three individuals at 851 Center Street. He reportedly told officers the three individuals took his wallet and his cell phone.

Henderson Police report 18 year old Austin Diller of Henderson was interviewed on Thursday, Thanksgiving Day, regarding the robbery and stated it was set up by a 17 year old male and 16 year old female with the help of 18 year old Dakota Bryant of Robards. Police say Diller stated that the never hit Rightmyer, but he did take his wallet.
According to police, the gun used in the robbery was found and recovered by a Henderson County Sheriff’s deputy at the home of the 16 year old female.

Bryant was also interviewed regarding the robbery, but police say he denied having anything to do with it and refused to answer any further questions.

After interviewing the juveniles separately, police arrested the 16 year old female for first degree complicity of robbery and the 17 year old male for first degree robbery. The juveniles were lodged at the Juvenile Detention Center in Bowling Green.

In addition, police arrested Diller and Bryant for first degree robbery. Bryant also was charged with tampering with physical evidence.

Diller and Bryant were lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center.
