A fatal wreck in Henderson County early this morning claimed the life of a male.
As of news time, the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office indicates the name of the deceased is being withheld pending notification of family.
Henderson County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the US 425 and Breathitt Parkway Southbound around 6:30 Tuesday morning for an injury accident and upon arrival deputies found a pickup truck overturned in the median of the interchange. Upon further investigation, authorities say a deputy found a male had been thrown from the vehicle and began CPR until Henderson County EMS, at which time the male was pronounced dead at the scene.
Upon speaking to witnesses, a deputy reportedly learned that there was a previous collision on the Breathitt Parkway Northbound between this pickup truck and a passenger car.
