Expect delays on Twin Bridges in Henderson
December 12th, 2016
According to Keith Todd, Public Information Officer for Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, a contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans a daytime lane restriction on the US 41 Twin Bridges between Henderson and Evansville starting Tuesday December 13, 2016.
The daytime work zone restriction is to allow surveying of the bridge structure and prep work for installation of new solar powered navigation lights on the US 41 Twin Bridges.
The daytime lane restrictions will initially start on the SOUTHBOUND bridge on Tuesday December 13th, then continue through about Friday December 16th. The contractor will then return on Monday December 19th with a daytime lane restriction starting on the NORTHBOUND bound. The crew expects to be on the northbound bridge through about Friday December 23rd.
Motorists can expect to encounter one lane traffic between 8:30am and 2:30pm each day. All traffic is expected to initially move to the left-hand or passing lane in this work zone. Appropriate caution is required where equipment, flaggers, and other personnel are along the roadway in close proximity to traffic flow.
