Eddie Humphrey, age 94 of Morganfield, KY died Sunday 11/25/2018 at Colonial Assisted Living in Henderson, KY. He was owner and operator of Sears & Roebuck for many years and also owner of Glad Fencing. He was devoted to his community, giving back at every opportunity. He collected and repaired countless appliances and gave them to underprivileged families in the community; as well as his involvement in Habitat for Humanity and Audubon Area Community Services. Eddie was a member and deacon at First Baptist Church. He was a WWII Army Veteran.

He was preceded by his parents William Edward and Florence Humphrey; wife Gladys in 2014; infant son Bobby Humphrey; and brothers and sisters.

Survivors include

1 brother Jack Humphrey of Georgia

Nieces and Nephews

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Wednesday 11/28/2018 at Whitsell Funeral Home in Morganfield, KY. Rev. Steve Thompson will officiate.

Visitation will be 10 AM until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery in Morganfield, KY.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Habitat for Humanity or Audubon Area Community Services.
