Motorists traveling in Henderson County need to be aware a Kentucky Transportation Cabinet contractor plans to close the eastbound ramps at the Audubon Parkway/KY 1078 Zion Exit 5 Interchange starting Wednesday.
State transportation officials indicate the eastbound exit ramps at the Audubon Parkway/KY 1078 Zion Exit 5 Interchange will close promptly at 6:00 Wednesday morning to allow the ramps to be reconstructed.
The contactor expects the eastbound ramp work to take about two weeks to complete as part of the ongoing rehabilitation along the Audubon Parkway from mile point 0.0 to mile point 8.5 in Henderson County.
According to officials, there will not be a marked detour. However, eastbound motorists may self-detour via the KY 416 Hebbardsville Exit 10 Interchange.
As a reminder, state transportation officials say motorists can be cited and fined for moving and/or driving around traffic barricades and road closed signs.
