KYTC NEWS RELEASE:

A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans a daytime work zone lane restriction along a section of KY 351/Zion Road in eastern Henderson County starting Thursday, April 7, 2016.

Traffic along KY 351/Zion Road will be restricted to one lane near the 5 mile marker where two curves were realigned just west of the Zion community. The work zone is to allow the contractor to do some corrective ditching work and repair a couple of culverts.

Motorists should be prepared to encounter one lane traffic with alternating flow controlled by flaggers between about 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., CDT, each day. The work is expected to take about a week to complete, weather permitting.

Approximately 3,400 vehicles travel this section of KY 351 between Zion and Graham Hill in an average day.
