Corydon woman charged with possessing meth

What started out as a traffic stop in Henderson County ended with the arrest of a Corydon woman for possessing meth and other drugs.

The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office reported today that Monday night around 10:30 a deputy conducted a traffic stop on Jane Posey Road and Highway 41-A and suspected the driver, 51 year old Melissa Clark, was driving under the influence of narcotics. During a consented search of Clark’s vehicle, deputies reportedly found methamphetamine, a glass pipe, a marijuana joint and various pills.

Clark was taken into custody and lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center for Speeding, DUI, Possession of a Controlled Substance (Meth), Marijuana and Drug Paraphernalia and Prescription of a Controlled Substance not in Proper Container.
