Paducah & Louisville Railroad plans to close KY 1221 in eastern HOPKINS County starting Thursday, April 21, 2016.
KY 1221/Pond River-Colliers Road will be closed to allow a reworking of the rail crossing at mile point 1.7. This is along KY 1221 about 2 miles west of the KY 70 intersection.
P & L plans to close KY 1221/Pond River-Colliers Road at approximately 8 a.m., CDT, on Thursday. The roadway at this site is expected to reopen to traffic sometime on Monday, April 25.
There will be no marked detour.
