CSX Railroad plans to close a section of KY 138 in the Slaughters community of WEBSTER County on Monday & Tuesday, November 21 & 22, 2016.
A CSX rail crew plans to close KY 138 at mile point 10.7 in Webster County. This is along KY 138 just west of the US 41 intersection in Slaughters.
The roadway at this site is expected to close starting at 8 a.m., CST, on Monday, Nov 21st. It is expected to reopen to traffic around 4 p.m., on Tuesday, Nov 22.
There will be no marked detour. Motorists may self-detour via side roads. Trucks should self-detour via appropriate state routes.
Thursday, November 29 through December 2, 2016.
Additionally, CSX has tentative plans plans to close roadways for rail crossing work at the following locations and dates:
· Jefferson Street in Sebree -November 23-29
· Jones Road in Slaughters -November 28-29
· Peddler McDonald Road in Sebree -Nov 29- Dec 1
· KY 416 at mile point 5.53 in Robards -Nov 29-Dec 2
These dates are tentative and subject to change. Additional traffic advisories will be issued as the CSX rail work schedule firms up.
