City of Henderson to Start Milling Streets on Wednesday

Motorists traveling in Henderson need to be prepared to take alternate routes, or experience some delays, as crews prepare to pave several city streets beginning Wednesday, May 25.

According to Public Works Engineer Dylan Ward, the streets will remain open to motorists during the milling that will begin Wednesday, however, he says you may experience delays and should use alternate routes if possible.

Weather permitting, the news release from the City of Henderson indicates the following streets are scheduled to be milled this week:

First Street (Clark Street to Winstead Avenue)

Third Street (Ingram Street to Alvasia Street)

12th Street (North Elm Street to Merritt Drive)

Augusta Drive (Hallway Drive to Vanguard Avenue)

Dixon Street (Elm Street to Green Street)

Lambert Street (Fifth Street to 6th Street)

Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue (Green Street to Ingram Street)

Mill Street (Clay Street to Sand Lane)

South Main Street (Audubon Street to Sand Lane)
