Central City Residents Arrested On Drug Charges

Central City, KY (Muhlenberg County) – The Kentucky State Police has arrested two Central City women on drug-related charges.

On Wednesday, January 13, at approximately 1:23 p.m., the Kentucky State Police simultaneously executed search warrants at two residences on Morehead Street in Central City. During the search of the residence located at 508 Morehead Street, officers located suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, pills, and drug paraphernalia. During the search of the residence located at 604 Morehead Street, officers located suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

The search warrants and arrests stem from a drug-trafficking investigation by the KSP that began in October of 2015.

Arrested at 508 Morehead Street was Terri A. Summers, 46, Central City. She was charged with the following offenses:
1) Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree 2nd or > Offense (Drug Unspecified)
2) Possession of Marijuana
3) Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
4) Three counts of Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree 2nd or > Offense (< 2 grams Meth)

Arrested at 604 Morehead Street was Pamela G. Hobgood, 50, Central City. She was charged with the following offenses:
1) Trafficking in Controlled Substance 1st Degree 2nd or > Offense (> 2 grams Meth)
2) Possession of Marijuana
3) Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Both subjects were lodged in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center.

KSP Post 2 units, KSP DESI West units, KSP Special Operations K-9 Section, the Central City Police Department, and the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force assisted.
