A Muhlenberg County mother and her two children were injured in a single-vehicle wreck

Greenville, KY (Muhlenberg County) – The Kentucky State Police is investigating a single-vehicle, injury-collision that occurred on KY 171, approximately three miles south of Greenville, on Thursday, May 12 at 4:00 p.m.

The preliminary investigation revealed that Tiffany Landrum, 35, Greenville, was operating a 2004 Chevrolet Aveo southbound on KY 171when the passenger side tires dropped off the right shoulder of the roadway.

Ms. Landrum overcorrected and lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle crossed over the centerline and exited the roadway. It struck a tree before coming to rest.

Ms. Landrum and her passengers (children), Jacob, 14, and Bailey, 10, were transported via ambulance to Owensboro Health Muhlenberg Community Hospital for treatment. Ms. Landrum and Bailey Landrum were wearing seatbelts. Jacob Landrum was not wearing a seatbelt.

Trooper First Class Jerry Knight is investigating the collision. The Greenville Fire Department and Muhlenberg County EMS assisted at the scene.
