Authorities are investigating two accidents they say involved items being thrown off overpasses along the Audubon Parkway in Henderson County.

According to the Henderson County Sheriff’s Office, Daniel Sumner of Princeton, IN. stated to deputies he was driving eastbound on the parkway around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday when someone threw a large oil can off of the Alves-Ferry Road overpass that hit the hood of his vehicle.

Then around 3:30 a.m. Wednesday, another vehicle driven by Eric Abell of Henderson was traveling westbound on the parkway when someone threw an oil can off of the T. Smith Road overpass that struck the front of his vehicle.

Both vehicles reportedly were damaged by the oil cans. Fortunately, the drivers of the vehicles were not hurt.
