Police have arrested an Evansville man in connection to an armed robbery.
According to Evansville Police, 41 year old Travis Buchanan was arrested for the armed robbery Wednesday at the CVS Pharmacy on Morgan Avenue.
Police say Buchanan displayed a handgun at a pharmacist and demanded prescription pills and then fled the store with an undisclosed amount of pills. Other employees and customers where in the store at the time of the armed robbery, but they were not threatened or injured.
Authorities indicate investigators received several tips from the community identifying Buchanan as the man seen in surveillance images showing the robbery in progress.
Buchanan was located Thursday and taken into custody.
