A juvenile was injured Tuesday after she was hit by a vehicle in Madisonville.
Police tell WMSK News 25 year old Kayla Herbert was driving north on South Spring Street around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday when a five year old girl crossed the street between two parked cars and into the path of Herbert’s vehicle. Herbert tried to avoid hitting the child, but was unable to do so.
According to Madisonville Police, the juvenile was transported by private vehicle to the emergency room for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
