3 individuals arrested after police pursuit from Evansville to Henderson

Authorities say a vehicle pursuit in Henderson County landed three people behind bars facing various charges.

Around 8:15 Thursday night, Henderson County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the area of US 41 North in reference to a vehicle pursuit initiated by Evansville Police that was heading toward Henderson. Once units located the vehicle, authorities say the driver later identified as 25 year old Nelson Elmer Detalente III of Evansville led police on a pursuit through several city streets before finally stopping and giving up at the corner of Meadow Street and Center Street in Henderson.

According to the report, Detalente was taken into custody and lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center for Fleeing or Evading Police 1st Degree (Motor Vehicle), Reckless Driving, three counts of Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree (Police Officer), Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense (Methamphetamine), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Operating on a Suspended or Revoked Operator’s License.

In addition, two of three other subjects in the vehicle were arrested and taken to jail. Authorities say 27 year old Angie Mueller was arrested for an outstanding warrant of arrest for charges not related to the incident, and 33 year old Sara Burns was charged with Public Intoxication-Controlled Substance-Excludes Alcohol.
