The 19th Annual Spring Prayer Gathering for local farmers will be held Friday morning.
Joe Sprague tells WMSK News they are a West Kentucky Cursillo group that has been gathering for over two decades.
Sprague says they have been meeting ever since on the first day of April, adding that when they first started gathering for prayer it was held in a barn.
Bob White says the annual Spring Prayer Gathering is a time for the farmers to show God their appreciation for His blessings during a short service.
According to Joe Hunter, they have a good attendance every year at the prayer gathering and he feels Union County has truly been blessed.
19th Annual Spring Prayer Gathering for Farmers will be held Friday morning at 7:00 at the John Arnold Arena at the Union County Fair Grounds in Sturgis. They will be serving coffee, juice and donuts. All farmers are invited to attend.
