14 year old injured in wreck when man loses control of vehicle and hits house in Henderson County

A teenager was injured in a wreck when police say a Henderson man who was driving on a suspended license lost control of his pick-up truck and hit a house in Zion.

The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office reports 21 year old Corey Williams was driving a pick-up truck northbound on KY 1078 North around 6:30 Wednesday night when he lost control of the vehicle in a sharp curve, ran off the road and hit the residence of James Wolfe.

According to deputies, a 14 year old passenger in Williams’ vehicle was taken to the emergency room at Methodist Hospital for a possible facial injury due to him not wearing a seatbelt.

Authorities say Williams was arrested and lodged in the Henderson County Detention Center for Operating on a Suspended Operators License, Failure to Surrender Revoked Operators License and Failure to Wear Seatbelts.

The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Zion Fire Department, Henderson EMS and Henderson City-County Rescue Squad.
